SimFid Lids™ are lids placed on previously spiked bags of simulated I.V. fluid in healthcare simulation or education labs to permit students to practice the skill of spiking and priming I.V. fluids.  The lids reduce lab supply waste and reduce costs associated with teaching the skill by reusing costly simulated I.V. fluid bags.

 Can I reuse the SimFid Lid™?

While SimFid Lids™ can be placed and removed multiple times for storage of simulated IV fluids, each SimFid Lid™ can be spiked only once.

 Do SimFid Lids™ work on all simulated IV fluid bags?

No. SimFid Lids™ are meant to fit over cylindrical, tube-like ports. They are not compatible with ports that are winged or flat.
